Missions Committee-
Seeks to fulfill the Great Commission by providing Andrews Chapel members the
opportunity
to participate in individual, corporate and cooperative Mission events.
The
Missions Committee will provide the oversight and coordination of the missions
efforts
of Andrews Chapel. The Missions Committee’s responsibilities include:
1.
Providing the Church with education and awareness of missions efforts and needs,
2.
Leading the Church in support of missions efforts and needs, and
3.
Providing the opportunity for Church members to participate in organized mission
efforts both the United States and in an international setting.
Missions Committee members are recommended by the Nominating Committee and will
normally serve a 3 year term. Members should possess a heart for missions.
Andrews Chapel members wishing to participate in Missions opportunities should
contact
the church office.
